Hello! My name is Shawn Douglas Slone. I am the pulpit minister for the Prestonsburg Church of Christ! I am married to my sweetheart of 28 years, Heather Dawn Slone. We have been blessed with one son, Shane and grandson, Samuel (Sammy) who is our pride and joy!
We have two Dachshunds, Trixie and Maggie, who we love and spoil rotten. They have trained both of us well.
We spend most of our time in the work of the church and with the family of God that we have been so richly blessed with and whom we love with all of our hearts. Outside of that we love spending time with each other, whether at home or any other place that life may take us. Our happiest place is with each other! We love when our grandson is with us. He brings so much love and joy to our lives!
Our greatest desire for everyone is to have a relationship with the Father, through and obedient relationship with the Son, Jesus! We strive though sometimes we fail to demonstrate the love of Jesus to others, through our lives!
